It's back to back Mango recipes, my previous post Mangai Pachadi is with raw mangoes, this one, today, Mango Fool is with ripe mangoes. It's such an easy recipe but it tastes so rich and delicious, an easy dessert that can be made in advance. We need just a few ingredients, the main ones being ripe mangoes and heavy cream, try this and enjoy it this mango season..
Need To Have
- Ripe Mango - 1 medium
- Amul Fresh Cream - 1/2 cup
- Granulated Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Icing Sugar - 11/2 tablespoons
- Lemon Juice - 1 teaspoon
Chop the mangoes, reserving a little to garnish, blend the rest with the lemon juice and granulated sugar, I got about 1/2 a cup of mango pulp.
Now take the fresh cream, add the icing sugar and beat it well until peaks form.
Add the mango pulp and using a fork, fold it lightly, don't mix it . Now spoon it into serving glasses, top it with the reserved chopped mangoes, chill and serve.
Use good quality sweet mangoes, there shouldn't be any fiber.
I made it, chilled and served it after 7 hours and it was good, the mango cream was rich and creamy.
I get only Amul Fresh Cream, to get whipped cream I add the icing sugar.
